Hello and Bonjour!

My name is Brie O'Sullivan (she/her) and as the Canadian Youth Delegate, I will be joining the 2022 Canadian Delegation to the 75th World Health Assembly (WHA) and 30th Pan American Sanitary Conference (PASC). The WHA and PASC are governing bodies of the World Health Organization (WHO), with the WHA occurring annually and the PASC occurring every five years. Each conference is attended by a delegation of Canadian civil society representatives, including leaders and staff from the Office of International Affairs (Public Health Agency of Canada), Global Affairs Canada, and Health Canada.

As the Canadian Youth Delegate, I will act as a consultant, participant, and liaison to represent the voices and global health priorities of Canadian youth at these international conferences. It is my vision to inspire young leaders within our country to actively engage in health policy and programming at the national, international, and global levels. In the months leading up to the WHA and PASC, I will be sharing several opportunities for you to participate in establishing and providing guidance on our collective priorities.
